Family

We had a great time on the fourth. We had Johnny and the family come and visit. We all headed to the keys and bombarded Johnny's awesome duplex overlooking the ocean in Marathon. Grandpa cooked as always and it was amazing. We all went fishing off the dock in the back where my sister held a fishing tournament. She caught the first fish and paraded around like she caught Jaws. It was actually more like Nimo. Miguel proceeded to cast away for 19hrs only to catch the wrath of my sister instead of a single fish. Arminda and Clari's kids also visited. They are such good kids. They don't want to go back to Cali. Coocoo and Sidney probably had the most fun of all. They went out with cousin D to Sombrero beach. They all anchored from his boat to the rest of the family boats and using there cuban instincts they proceeded to float ( with the help of noodles ) back and forth from the boat to the beach. The fireworks were enjoyed from the boat. My sister and I watched the fireworks from a small pier in Key Colony Beach with a bunch of gringos. As always we all headed to Grandpa's house to have a feast. Pig, Rice, Salad, Desert and Beer. Dominoes of course, followed by my sisters fascination with Cranium. The game of course was won by the cheating girls that make the rules as they go along.

All in all it was a great time. We have an amazing family. It would be nice to have everyone together more often.
